TRACK Packs Now Available at Visitor Center

TRACK Packs Now Available at Visitor Center TRACK Packs include everything except the Ranger hat.
Interested in getting your kids outdoors and hiking in our beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, but don’t know where to start, what to take, or where to go? Let the Kids in Parks program help:
Visit the Blue Ridge Parkway’s Asheville Visitor Center (milepost 384), check out a TRACK Pack and then hike the TRACK Trail (located at far end of parking lot).
Stuffed with things like binoculars, field guides, a bug discovery kit, magnifying glasses, a nature journal and a first aid kit, TRACK Packs are loaded with the gear and supplies needed to turn an ordinary hike into a discovery filled adventure.
Located at the visitor center’s information desk, TRACK Packs are free to check out for a period of 24 hours. Simply walk in, check one out, and hike the trail. We’ll see you out there!
