What's your favorite TRACK Trail? Why?
- Emma: "Fort Macon State Park (NC) because of being able to learn how the soldiers lived at the fort in the cool museum."
Lily: "Jockey's Ridge State Park (NC) because of the sand dunes."
What's your favorite TRACK Trail brochure adventure?
- Emma & Lily: "The Nature's Hide and Seek brochure from the parks about nature and animals because those help you spot the beauty in nature and learn about local wildlife."
What's the most exciting wildlife you've ever seen on a TRACK Trail?
- Emma & Lily: "A Copperhead at South Mountain, NC."
What's the longest adventure you've been on?
- Emma & Lily: "South Mountain State Park is the longest one we've done. My family did the TRACK Trail and also hiked to the top of the waterfall and to another waterfall the same day."
What's the coolest trail experience you've ever had?
- Emma: "Getting to learn about all the history at Fort Macon."
Lily: "Going to Julian Price Park because we got to do the nature walk, see animals, fish, play in the creek, climb on rocks, and have a picnic."
If you could go for a hike anywhere in the world, where would it be?
- Emma: "Hike in a jungle in the Amazon."
Lily: "If I could go anywhere, I would go somewhere with volcanos, like Hawaii, to see the lava."
Do you have any hiking tips for other Trail TRACKers?
- Emma: "Always be on the lookout for something cool in nature. Leave your electronic devices and toys in the car or at home so you can pay attention to wildlife and nature and spend time with your family."
Lily: "I would tell others to look around in nature to see things and to help you remember your trail. Write notes and draw pictures of what you saw when you finish."
